In middle school, me and my friends would print out My Immortal and read it aloud at lunch, each reading different character's parts like a play.
Many lols were had.

I read the entire thing out loud to my sister. Oh the good times. Snap, Snape, Snake or Snipe being in Azerbaijan, people walking and talking gofickly. It was EPIC. I have never laughed so hard in my life.

My first was the "Quatre fucks a camel" fic, and worst was, for a time, the "Duo is raped by Deathscythe" fic. Then Harry Potter fanfiction was invented and the internet became a scary, scary, dangerous minefield of squick. Including, of course, the fic that spawned the term, as well as introduced my fifteen year old self to the concept of skull-fucking. Squick. Squick. Squick.
