8. I was silly and actually went on Urban Dictionary:

A sort of crossbreed between fans of anime and otherkin, Otakin believe that they are actually the reincarnation of an anime (or occasionally game) character and that the worlds depicted in popular animes such as evangelion and games like final fantasy exist in another dimension. Unlike their otherkin counterparts, otakin are relatively rare and tend to limit their activities to obscure message boards and livejournal communities.

"My name is Rei, I'm an otakin, and in a past life I was a pokemon... PI-KA!"

XD Urban Dictionary is always so silly.

In case you were not aware, that is the a pretty good definition of Otakin.

Really? I wouldn't know. Today was the first time I've ever seen that word before.

Yup. :) It is. Learn something new every day, eh?

Definitely. It certainly is an interesting concept, I must say!

"My name is Rei, I'm an otakin, and in a past life I was a pokemon... PI-KA!"

I knew someone who believed that he was a Charizard. He was very serious about it and got extremely offended if you told him you didn't believe too, or that you didn't like Pokemon (even more so if it was "him" that you didn't like). I haven't seen him in years and don't know what happened to him, but I hope he never got it into his head that he could fly like Charizard could. He was really, really strange but he was a nice guy. D=

If that's kind of off-topic or something, sorry. This comment just brought back memories.

Don't apologize. That was an interesting story.

Just... wow, though. I hope he didn't go hurt himself trying to pull any crazy stunts. D:

Hey, I'm a pixie and I haven't tried to jump off any buildings. *laughs*
