I think she secretly likes him a little, or she wouldn't let herself get kidnapped all the time >_> I mean, look at any game where she actually fights... Smash Bros., Mario 2, Super Princess Peach... she could kick his ass from here to Sunday if she really wanted to.

There was a secret a while ago on f!s I believe, where the OP theorised that the whole 'back and forth kidnapping/rescuing' thing was all just a kind of game between Mario, Peach and Bowser. Since that I haven't been able to unsee it. xD
