Apples and oranges! OP doesn't hate men because of Peter Griffin, but rather hates the misogynist humor is shown as a good thing in the show and that there are a great deal of men who enjoy said humor. (Or at least that's how I'm reading it.)

i actually really like patty and selma, they're great characters. sure they're not awesome people, but its great to see female characters that are actually fun and funny and don't have to be the kind, sweet voice of reason

anyway nobody cares about that but i'm just sayin', if anything they should make people like women BETTER

I agree.... I think hating men assuming that all men are misogynists just encourages the idea that being a misogynist is "manly", and encourages men to act that way.
