Jesus christ, this. Especially metaraymek's Shepard. She makes him look all attractive in her art, but in screencaps, he's one of the most hideous male Shepards I've ever seen. No one wants to see that face all the time.

The overspamming wouldn't be quite as irritating if they were at least decent characters, or if the users in questions weren't such snobby elitist douchebags.

I'm not the original poster of the "elitist douchebag" comment, so I won't answer for them, but I myself strongly suspect that metaraymek's dumping the Garrus/FShepard pairing once it became hugely popular, and instead grabbing onto Mordin/MShepard (which absolutely no one ships except for her and a few of her groupies), was fueled by a serious dose of special snowflake elitism.

Agreed. I wouldn't necessarily say it sucks, but it's nothing to write home about either. Her turians are particularly...unfortunate.
