dude i'm sorry, i understand where you're coming from, but to me it sounds like you're complaining that all fandoms have to be about human beings or that most fandoms take place on earth.

stop dividing het ships and homo ships! enjoy relationships for how they're written and the emotions they inspire in you, not for whether the characters involved have the same genitals or not.

Also, I'd totally be down with ranting about people who think that every single person needs to be paired off for a happy ending. Romance isn't the end-all-be-all.

But unless the cast is small, the setting or the canon itself are unusual circumstances compared to real life, probability dictates there's going to be at least one het ship somewhere.

(That's actually my main issue with people who want to pair off everybody--it's not likely that'll happen. I can only suspend so much disbelief.)
