To #1: I know the feeling. I'll be stuck as a nebbishy bookshelver and never get a chance to save somebody's life or make the world a better place. That's the down side of living in this difficult time.

To #3: Been there. There never seems to be enough energy to get it all done. That, and the readers / reviews taper off more and more as a story develops. It gets a little discouraging.

To #8: PS1 Destiny and SNES Phantasia for the win. Rock on, old school Tales.

To #10: I knew who Stephen Fry was before I ever heard of Hugh Laurie, and it still cracks me up to see him purposely fail at rapping on old episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? (The first movie in which I saw him was Peter's Friends; oddly enough, it had Tony Slattery in it, too.)

To #14: Yeah, I'd hit that, too, but only after tea and a good conversation about books and things.

To #19: I guess that beats being tentacle'd by, say, Cho-Jin (see avatar).
