This. I loved Bela from the get-go and was severely disappointed with the way she was treated in the end, so getting Demon!Bela in the new season would sort of make up for her previous storyline.

Sad but true. Whenever someone says that if Cas had been a women she would have ended up as Dean's love interest all I can think is, 'Maybe, but I'm pretty sure her water balloon full of chunky soup death would have stuck'. Male!Cas however has come back from the dead more times than a soap opera character.

It could go either way. Some people really are oblivious to stuff like that, but quite a few fans are VERY vocal about hating any female character that could possibly be a love interest and it could be fanbase pandering (apparently that's why Kripke left Jo in a bar). I'm hoping Sera does better with female characters than Kripke, but considering her track record with killing off female characters (Madison, Ava, Anna, Patrick the manwitch's girlfriend) I'm not holding out THAT much hope. If Lisa doesn't end up dead in season six I'll be shocked.
