Ah because of Tezuka! he was very influenced by disney and pretty much propelled manga and anime to what it is today. I think it would still have existed though just would have gone a different route!

Well, the actual animation part would probably not be as developed since Disney basically created the animation business

But the style would've existed anyway so I'm not sure what OP is trying to say

The style we now identify as 'anime style' with the big eyes and round faces and whatnot was very inspired by early Disney films like Snow White; I think that's what the OP is referring to.
