I agree about the ear thing, too. WHAT THE FUCK. Is it so that they can hear twice as well? *shot*

I know that in Loveless, the ears used as a symbol of innocence, childhood, and virginity. (A person will lose their cat ears as soon as they have sex.)

But most of the time, it's used just because. D:

Yeah, couldn't they only have cat ears until they lose them and then get normal ones after that? D: BLAH.

Yeah, I know about that one. It... SORT OF made sense in that way (as much as cat ears = virginity can make sense, that is).

BUT YEAH. OTHERWISE... WHAT. No. Unless it's like in that Sideways Stories from Wayside School series thing where that man had a third nostril and stole people's voices, or that one chick had a third ear and could hear people's thoughts, but if it serves no purpose, then it's ridiculous. Those other examples are pretty ridiculous too, but shhh, I liked those books. D:

Ditto~ I was talking with someone about them a few weeks ago and meant to dig them outta my basement, but I never did. D:

D:! You must remedy the situation immediately. Or... not quite immediately, maybe, but still sometime soon!
