Don't write in a tattooed half-demon who kills God, and I think you're fine. (Atlus was far from the first to touch on the idea of a collective unconscious, and the Law/Chaos/Neutral axis is from Dungeons and Dragons, man - 20 years before Atlus got started. Kids these days.)

iirc Jung was the one who first came up with the phrase 'collective unconscious'? Which isn't to say that it was his own original idea, obv.

Kinda boggled that OP didn't know that L/N/C is from AD&D. I thought that was covered in fandom 101. Maybe I'm just old. :(

Yeah, they even quote Jung in the game. Not sure how the OP got the idea s/he'd be jacking Persona with it.

I... am damn near thirty. I don't know if the kids these days don't play table top games, or if D&D 4e (a fourth edition! I remember first!) doesn't have an alignment axis, or what.

Eh, I think most writers lift vaguely off something or another. Phillip Pullman fully admitted that he 'reads like a butterfly and writes like a bee.' Just don't be too obvious with it.

(And looking at previous comments, I dunno about the OP but I know chaos/law/neutral came from D&D. I'm sure I'm not the only one either. But I never have and probably will never play tabletop RPGs so Nocturne was the first I actually dealt with alignment. *shrug*)
