I believe the OP is referencing this:

The original script had Miguel and Tulio actually be lovers, calling each other "darling" and such. Although the idea was cut, they left in scenes where you can kinda of tell what they were pushing for. Like in the scene where they are woken up in the bed together with ruffled hair and loose clothing? And lest we forget when Tulio and Chel are making out, while they TRIED to imply at the beginning of the film that Miguel was jealous of Chel, this scene was true to the original script, but he wasn't jealous of the female...

But I haven't found any concrete evidence yet.

The last bit confuses me. They tried to imply that Miguel was jealous of Chel but he wasn't jealous of the female? Huh?

I think they are trying to imply that the woman wasn't the one that they were interested in, but were jealous because the woman was taking the man.

..Something like that, someone explain it better than me.

Miguel wasn't jealous that Tulio was the one with Chel, he was jealous that Chel was the one with Tulio. I think that's what it means?
