(Anonymous) 2010-08-22 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)Oh no, I think the fandom is great, I've introduced myself and lurk their forums all the time, even post every now and then.
I just have to get over myself and jump in, that's hard for me. But this is an issue of mine which is present in real life as well, I can never integrate into communities easily. Which kind of sucks, as I'd love to discuss it with someone. But enough complaining.
I agree with you on the Vriska part :) Yeah, some people are fans of her only to spite the haters, that's a little silly, but hey, they're free to do so. Personally, I like the tragic background of her, which gets easily overlooked by some.
And thanks, your comment gave me a smile, good to see nice people out there.

I have conflicting emotions about Vriska, but I'm not gonna rain on your parade with them right now. But yeah, nice people exist! We are not fakey fake, imaginary or pretend. Not like magic, faeries and Rufio.
