...But assuming that House is heterosexual (we have never been given any evidence to the contrary) and Wilson is heterosexual (we have never been given any evidence to the contrary) then they... can never be in a relationship?

Having a gay relationship is pretty well blocked by not being gay.

Inb4 people saying "THEY COULD BE BI BECAUSE THEY'VE NEVER SAID EXPLICITLY..." which is the same argument that could be used for "Wilson clearly keeps a giant purple unicorn on that balcony thingy because we haven't seen it since S2!"

Well it's not really the same, since I think there's a greater chance of them being bi than Wilson having a giant purple unicorn. And it's not like it hasn't been done before with two characters you could've assumed were straight (Buffy, Torchwood, etc.)

But yeah, you have a point. I don't think the writers ever intended for House and Wilson to be bi. Personally, I don't want to see House and Wilson get together on the show anyways. That's what fanfic is for. I do wish House would find a woman other than Cuddy though. And Wilson's fine with Sam, although I preferred Amber. :(

Meh, I could see an argument actually being made for House being bi to some degree.
Wilson completely cluelessly quizzed Thirteen about bisexuality. And has quite the dating history that we know about, all with women. For him, it would be more of a stretch.
