This secret kinda pisses me off, as I had a friend distance herself from me on the basis that me and a couple of others were 'talking about anime all the time so we don't have anything in common anymore.' Which I thought was bullshit then and still think is now, as I had friends at the time (and still do) who aren't into anime. Yeah, sometimes fangirls will fangirl, but all it takes is a few comments of 'hey, let's talk about something else' to steer a conversation around. And being passive-aggressive and posting secrets like this to F!S just makes me think the OP is a serious bitch.

Not only that, someone who is DETERMINED to never see anime ever like the OP makes me think they've got a number of sticks up their ass. What, not even a single Miyazaki movie?

I never understood the 'my friends all want me to get into this and they push so I refuse to do it rargh' mentality. Yeah, it might get annoying, but give it a try and see at least enough to say 'I tried it and I don't like it' and get them off your back. Or who knows, you may end up liking it.
