I seriously do not get this fandom's superior attitude towards the Jeff/Annie shippers. They're just having a bit of fun, same as any other shippers for any other show. Excuse them for being the majority, jesus christ. People complained in the beginning that this show didn't have a fandom, then once it got a fandom everyone started complaining about its preferences. All love for the show is good love. The Jeff/Annie shippers are the most enthusiastic. If that bothers you, then promote what you like, because that's all that the shippers are doing.

I think there's a reason that most people except the ones who do ship Jeff/Annie are annoyed by them. It's not that they're the majority, it's that they're loud and obnoxious and expects J/A to be treated like Chuck/Blair on Gossip Girl or some shit.

How are they loud and obnoxious? They are the least entitled shippers I've ever come across. They don't bash other characters (they did in the beginning, but that's pretty much disappeared completely). They simply discuss what they like. It is because they're the majority that people resent them. Most of the crazy shipping talk is kept to the shipping comm, and shipping comms are completely avoidable for those who don't ship them.

I've been in the Community fandom from day 1, have never seen this so-called shouting down. I do not disagree that they were rude about Britta, but if you bothered to check fandom anytime after around Romantic Expressionism, even the J/A shippers pretty universally love Britta (you will have a few who don't, but most don't because of character quirks, not because of their ship preference, just like there are some people (regardless of ship preference) who hate Annie or Pierce or Shirley). How about you do some research before you run your mouth?

I've already seen complaints on Twitter about tonight's episode, dealing the lack of J/A.

Oh, and people were outraged at the bit where Jeff and Britta were the Greendale parents as they would have preferred Annie. Fucking ridiculous. I wish Harmon just put Jeff and Britta together already because I am willing to bet anything that the J/A shippers would give up the show completely.
