I don't know what fandom you're talking about, but it doesn't really matter, because I whole-heartedly agree with your position. The older I get the more fed up I'm getting with fandom, and the more I'm glad that the series (books, films, whatever) that I really love don't have much of a fandom.

Completely off topic, but I really kind of need to know what your icon's from.
