Yeah, but not every small symptom like a numb leg is cause for concern. Like someone above said, he probably thought it was a pinched nerve and thought simple work on said symptoms would've done the trick. When it didn't, he got a more in depth look at it and found out why the previous treatments weren't working. YES, some small things are really signs of bigger problems, but not always and I've noticed more people try to stay optimistic when they can, so I doubt ANYONE'S first thoughts when they have a numb leg or anything is "Oh, I bet I have cancer!". Just sayin'.

BTW, since when is a chiropractor not a doctor? Fairly sure it was meant that he went to both at the same time. :V
