And so are link spams and megaphones. Metaphor still works.

They could plug their ears just like you can close your eyes, they can get up and move just like you can click a link and skip over them.

Yes, but you're allowed to put whatever you want in your journal. Not to say that you're telling me that I (or anyone else) can't, it's just unreasonable for people to expect others to cater to everyone's suggestions/needs.
