When I was six I wanted to marry him. -shrug- I was six. I didn't know any better. And when I turned eight and got into Pokemon, it transferred to Ash.

Either way, I don't see how this makes you a furry. I always thought being a furry = an affinity for dressing up in fursuits. Am I missing something?

That's one part of it; the main definition of a furry is, I believe, someone with an affinity for anthropomorphic animals. Some are sexually attracted to them, some not. Some wear fursuits, some don't (and some are sexually attracted to fursuits, some aren't). Some want to be an animal or believe they're a wolf on the astral plane or something, some aren't. It's a pretty wide-ranging subculture, and the over-the-top disgust and superiority 90% of fandom feels towards them (especially the ones with kinks that are just as weird!)* makes this non-furry pissed off as hell. Everyone needs someone to look down on, I guess.
