Was just wondering, after all the discussion of the majority of FS being female -- what exactly is the ratio?

[Poll #1636682]

I'm not judging who goes into what category here, you tell me! No one else can see what you vote anyway.

Also, today's post is up. :)

Heeee. <3

Did you read Kraken? What'd you think?

I want to read it so very, very badly. It is literally the next book I am going to read, after I finish The Scar, which I almost have.

But Iron Council is one of my three favourite books of all time, tied with The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin and The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo.

I have to go with Scar for my favorite Bas Lag novel, but Council was amazing. I think you'll like Kraken, too.

Apparently his next book's gonna be science fiction.

...WANT.

The Scar is an absolutely delicious book, with the rare virtue of having not one single character in it I don't like, but the thing that really made me fall over in awe at Iron Council was that there's a character in it who is kind of... me. Or you know, a character I identify with to the deepest parts of my ~~SOUL~~. As vivid a depiction of it as there exists in any piece of fiction I have ever come across. So, yeah. *hugs it*

Oooooh, science fiction. Yes indeed, DO WANT.
