Yeah, Canada may be a huge country in land mass but the population is less than the single state of California. (Canada - 33,311,400 California - 36,961,664)

What's more most of the population is pretty close to the US border. Everything from halfway up and above is mostly empty except for Inuit and Cariboo. Though I suppose that's common sense.

When I was a kid I thought most of the world was populated like that. :/ Going in a plane over the States for the first time seriously disturbed me. /naive child
