- shut out any secrets that insult people's fanfiction
- allow secrets that have people's IRL faces in them, while calling them disgusting
- trying to insult me (but in secrets, that's not okay at all)

Okay, so I'm fairly sure that the "personal attack" that didn't get posted is, in fact, the secret I submitted. Because the last time I submitted it, it didn't get posted. And since today was the last day for this batch, it's obviously not gonna get posted this time either.

The thing is, I don't see how it can qualifies as a personal attack. Hell, I even reworded it when I resubmitted it just to utterly STRESS that fact. It concerns someone's -- no names given! -- icons; a subject that's been ranted about plenty of times here before. So why isn't mine okay?

But anyway, when you call someone's icon which is an icon of themselves -- "disgusting," (that was the word you used) yeah, that goes into personal.

Now replace "fic" with "icon". In my secret I said that I thought the icon was disgusting (not the person herself; I made that utterly clear), and the secret that you defended today contained terms such as "atrocious writing", "YOU and your shit writing", and so forth. It's the same damn thing, except that mine was A LOT less harsh.

And again, I love just how completely, retardedly random technophile is when judging what actually constitutes a personal attack. And how he freezes replies that point this out so people can't bring down his Ego That Ate Fucking Mars.

If you're going to not post personal attacks, then why do the "I judge you" secrets get to stay? THOSE ARE PERSONAL ATTACKS. They just happen to be against a metric fuckton of people rather than one person in particular, but they are attacks on a personal level. For the life of me I don't know how you can't see that, other than you just being after the wank they inevitably create.

Since replying in the other thread is frozen, I'll comment here: I would have accepted the fanfic attack and rejected the icon attack, too. That's not just someone's icon, that's their FACE outside of fandom that you want to expose to F!S to bash. But whether technophile is "inconsistent" or not, why is it so big of a deal to Anon to let strangers over the internet know that s/he hates a tiny picture of someone's face? And to even re-make the secret the second time again? That's not even hating, man, that's just obsession.
