I don't know, I don't think this is really an douchey thing to do unless she's commenting like five times on her own fic? Then again, I think commenting once is jerkish enough, but if someone wants to fill a prompt they're probably interested in reading other fills for the same prompt.

You know, despite the mean-ness, I understand the sentiment, because it is disappointing to get a fill that is OOC or just a total mess.

...But on the other hand, they are taking time out of their day to write something for you just because so how hard is it to just thank them and move on?

That's pretty mean of you OP. They are probably doing their best and trying to shoo them away won't help them improve.

I would feel disappointed too so I can understand why OP would do that. S/he probably knows it's wrong and that's why this is a secret.

Don't mind so much, OP - there's plenty of other prompts to request. You don't need to show anyone up, just thank them and move on.

I don't understand why some people are very controlling about their kink meme fills. Don't you expect a bad fill 90% of the time anyway? If the idea is so important that someone must "get it right," then why did you prompt it in the first place? Why not just save the idea for yourself? If I care a lot about a specific idea and I know someone else will fuck it up, then I just save the idea and write it myself.

The point of posting your prompt to an anonymous meme is to let someone else run with it.

And to all the OPs out there who don't bother to thank writers because the fill isn't exactly what they wanted: fuck you.

... OP, you do realize some people can see your IP when you post something in LJ? Not saying everyone can, or that anyone in that particular comm can (and even if they did they can't do pretty much anything about it), but someone might be able to see it and put two and two together.

OP, may I be perhaps your only full supporter! I'm sick of OoC shit that is basically the prompt extended by a few sentences and a few genitalia words thrown in. I might try this in the future.
