Maybe I'm just cynical, but I don't believe this is a real member of a minority expressing their real opinion. I think this is either a pure troll or a member of the majority with an agenda, and either way they're hoping people will read this and throw up their hands and say "Wait, they want the media to not represent them?? I give up! Obviously there's nothing I can do to make minorities happy and I should just give up trying!"

I have no way of proving to you that I am real. But I do truly feel this way, and this secret was born of a lot of frustration, and I made it after yet another insulting portrayal I saw on television. I thought to myself, sadly, better they just leave us alone and be done.

I do not pretend to speak for all minorities, and for people to conclude that the proper reaction is to not even try would be a mistake. But where I live, nobody even TRIES to get it right, so I'd rather they just stopped.
