It's certainly preachy for a "silly comedy."

If you don't like it why do you watch it? I do'nt think its preachy at all, just because it has dramatic moments they balance the comedy and make you care for the characters. They always have debate and different views on the show, it's never wholeheartedly preachy if you pay attention.

I said it was preachy. I never said I didn't like it.

And yes, at times, the characters do come across as preachy with many of their messages (Grilled Cheesus, anyone?), but otherwise it's still a decent show.
