no. if dethtoll was the unit that would make it seem like dethtoll was the troll. what i'm referring to is the people who used to troll dethtoll.

i want to emulate the the way they did it: whenever dethtoll would post something, someone would show up to insult him. i wish i could do the same to frank iero. it would be even funnier if it was a rl version of that. you know, like, jump out of his shopping bags and shout at him. hide in his car and whisper insults when he thinks he's alone.

except i have better things to do. also, that would be stalking and that's cruel.

He said some very unfortunate things about women, mocking included, and used the n word. Those were misogynist and racist things to say. If you look down his twitter, you'll see proof.

It's not trolling, some people are genuinely unhappy about some things that have been going on. Like the fucking "ladyboy" situation.

Some people find it offensive. Even if you don't, others do and it's their right to feel that way.

I'd like to point out that holocaust is an actual word that existed before and separately from The Holocaust.

the swastika was widely used before hitler co-opted it as the hakenkreuz, so if i see one, as someone who grew up in middle europe i should totally always assume it's a religious symbol that has nothing to do with nazi ideology. sure.

seriously though. i cannot agree with an understanding of the word holocaust that does not take very real, and also rather recent history into account.

besides, afaik frank is a peta supporter. peta had a campaign called "holocaust on your plate" which did very obviously compare the shoa (if you prefer a more specific term) to the killing of animals. so i can't help but put his tweet into that context.
