Because you can imagine your friends having loving passionate sex and it would be fine.
Or you can imagine one of your friends raping your other friend, or that other friend selling his body for drugs, or liking to be pissed on.

It was a figure of speech. I.e. someone whose personality you like, respect and admire.

Doesn't change the fact that they are fictional, and not yours (if you were the creator it would've been different.) So if I want to make them blind, give them a bad leg, rape them, impregnate them or have them perform obscene sexual kinks to see how they'd handle, you have no right to stop me.

You do however have the right to skip over my fantasies. That's what you probably should do. The Internet is vast. There are a lot of places to go if you don't like what's going on in one place.

I have no opportunity to stop you, that's very different from having a right or a desire. But you also have very little opportunity to stop me from bitching about it. Even in the comments right under your fic. As long as I stay polite, of course, which isn't difficult to do.

All of this is true, except you have no reason to read something you don't like, and no place to comment on something you haven't read. No one will take you or your comment seriously if all you're saying for example is, "Non-con is eww!!!" under a story that is clearly labeled non-con. It's not like there aren't warnings. Unless you're looking for wank which makes you just full of fail.
