I disagree, but was it anywhere near Menken's best? Absolutely not. It sounds as if he had more restraint put on him than previous films.

Was I celebrating that it wasn't Randy Newman? YES I WAS. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of his stuff, but it gets OLD. REAL. FAST. :/ It's like the Family Guy parody, he can sing about anything and everything, but after awhile you just want to hit him. His best for Disney was definitely Toy Story and Finding Nemo. Princess and the Frog was fine, but there wasn't one song that I wanted to sing over and over again like I usually do with Disney films.
