(This is probably something I picked up more from her books than the show, but) I like how she isn't afraid to be herself, have adventures, and go after the things she wants. In my life it seems like I've seen so many women encouraged /pressured in so many ways to be a little bit "nicer", a little bit more accommodating, a little bit smaller, somehow, then the men around them. It makes me feel good to see a woman who runs the show and doesn't seem to do any of those things, and is successful. Plus I like the format of the show, how they have the roundtable of comedians and discuss pop culture.
No comedian is for everyone, but I think she has gotten funnier as the show has progressed. If you saw some early episodes and didn't think they were funny, maybe you would like like it more now. Or maybe it's just not the show for you. But I would rather watch three hours of her show than be forced to sit through 1/2 hour of Jay Leno, that's for sure.
