Not really. I don't consider myself a brilliant writer, it is more that everyone else sucks.

Sure, you have an ego, but I know what it's like being in a tiny fandom and knowing for sure you're the only one in it who isn't a hack. Egotistical? Maybe. But when you're being really honest with yourself and you know it's the truth, that's even worse.
