I just have to ask if you've eer read Kim McFarlane's "Ducks to Watch Out For" series. It's the definitive Launchpad/Darkwing fic. Probably the first one ever written, as well.

I read in when I was 13, back in 1996. It was the first slash fic I ever read :)

15: Not all of us doll owners are rich. Creepy, maybe. 8D Some of us have to work very hard to be able to afford buying things for them. :/ Mine doesn't even have a real body yet.

Although personally, I'd much rather make my own clothes, instead of buy them. Cheaper, good sewing practice, and you can do whatever the hell you want with them. :3

19. I try to keep an open mind about fetishes but that one makes me want to kill myself. Forget the "Mature Content" warning on Deviantart; what it really needs a "Bizarre Fetish" warning because an obese Tifa Lockhart is more of an unwanted image than a naked person in my opinion.

#19 -- Everyone has their kinks, but man, I wish the inflationists would at least stop shoving it in other's faces. I have nothing against fat, and people who look good with a few extra pounds, but when it's that over the top it's just unappealing to me.

#6, #11 - and I suspect this isn't gonna exactly make me Little Miss Popular, but to play Devil's Advocate...

I almost joined that RP as well because I thought the premise was absolute love, but I'm really, really glad I didn't. Largely because I'm already sick to death of hearing about it. And all I do is read the posts to this community - and, speaking as an outsider, a lot of the players do, to my mind, come off as cliquish and perhaps a little arrogant. Maybe that's the point, maybe it isn't, but either way it doesn't exactly make me feel wild about the prospect of signing up.

This doesn't mean that I think you guys should be desperately unhappy that you missed me, mind - of course I don't think that. Still, if I find the somewhat insular attitude some of the players display here to be offputting enough to want to steer clear of the community, there might well be others who think the same way. Not all publicity is good publicity.

I still think the premise is love, though.

Also, #15, I wouldn't spend that much on a single outfit for myself, never mind for a freakin' doll.
