Yes yes yes. x( I'm glad someone else said this too so I'm not the only one.

There are plenty of good American doujin, just like there are tons of really bad Japanese ones. Foreign =/= superior. Maybe I'm just reading the wrong ones but all most seem to have going for them is the art--the storylines aren't exactly what you'd call original or even entertaining, not so different from comics coming from the West. =| We just see more crap here because we're in the English-speaking fandom.
