Me too, one year my mom got me two pairs toe socks from a flea market. They are huge and super fuzzy, but the toes were all cut to about the same length so when I put them on it looks like I have muppet feet or something. ♥ They're some of my favorite socks.

Well, it's the awkwardness of gift-giving combined with the usual potential for fandom to get awkward, so if you're uncomfortable with both you might want to avoid doing the exchanges at all. I always find them tempting, but as I'm the kind of person who has to be absolutely sure somebody's going to like what I get them for any kind of present, I've never worked up the motivation to sign up.
