Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either. Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

Anyone interested in James/Lily or even just general Marauder's era fic needs to read Here I Stand (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2855603/1/Here_I_Stand). It's super long and complete. Deathly Hallows came out near the end but she didn't have to change much. She didn't fix Snape and Lily being friends until fifth year, though, because it was too late for that. Though, I think they were friendly, iirc.

I don't read much H/G fic, but here (http://www.simplyundeniable.com/categories.php?catid=6&parentcatid=6) are over 200 fics.

Bend and Not Break (http://checkmated.com/story.php?story=6636) is a NC17 fic (so you need to apply to have access to it). It has both R/Hr and H/G.

Spirits in the Future (http://checkmated.com/story.php?story=6456) is almost crack fic, but it's good. It has J/L, H/G, and R/Hr, but I think the focus is on the first two iirc.

If you're into non-con, give A Matter of Circumstance (http://checkmated.com/story.php?story=3426) a try. It's H/G and G/OMC. It was written pre-HBP.

Of Hearts and Heroes (http://checkmated.com/story.php?story=3850) was never finished because the author had a baby and then I guess she lost interest or the muse, but it is so incredibly amazing I can't help but recommend it. post-HBP. A little gen, a little romance, and a fairly well-written OFC to boot!
