I dislike the fact that because she disagreed with the idea that other people didn't think agree with her bullshit attitude that the only proper way to write these characters was M/N her 'fans' left comments to other fanfic writers who were actually talented by saying they were doing it wrong. I dislike the fact that she slut-shamed women because she thinks that 'sex is gross' while at the same time drawing NC17 of these two characters because it's obviously okay if they're men. I dislike the fact that this artist wished rape, bodily harm and, again, slut shamed unto others.

So yes, I'm rejoicing over the fact that she's gone and that now, maybe, some of the actual sane fans will be able to go back to this fandom and not fear being attacked by a mob because an artist that can only draw moeblobs of characters decided that something wasn't cute or pretty enough.

I'm not taking it out against this fan. I'm just laughing at the idea that this immature, selfish, rude artist is in any way, shape or form 'nice'. Passive aggressive and hypocrite and hiding behind her n_n and ' v ' smilies, sure. Nice? Not a chance.

She never drew porn. Her pics were all censored. I find that silly(hey, you're drawing sex scenes, omiting the bits makes no sennse) but whatever.

I really think she's just too iimature, maybe a bit childish. But not a bad person. Maybe she will grow-up andstop acting like that.

Saying that, she was not the DN fandom. There are many artists on dA drawing Death Note.

She hates pretty much everyone, tbf. Latin-Americans and USAmericans in particular, the Western fandom as a whole for being full of wankers and assholes (something she said in her LJ, flat-out, without any exceptions added despite pretty much her entire flist being western), and thinks the Japanese crap rainbows and are fantastic and wonderful and perfect.

She only makes exceptions for a few of her white friends, and even then she insulted westerns as a whole, all the time, without giving a fuck. Everyone must love Japan like she does, right?

Same went for the western lolitas, and anything and everything that wasn't just Japanese or fapped to Japan like she does. To the point where she called the western fandom "the foreign fandom", as if she herself wasn't from Spain and not in Japan as well.

Different anon here... I really hate a lot of this artist's attitudes towards things (both fandom and RL, and especially her treatment of female characters/women in general.) However, I think it's crummy to express that by insulting one of her fans and calling her names (that don't even have anything to do with the fact that she picked the wrong role model). That's really mean. :\

PS- yes Mexican people can be racist too; they're human too aren't they?

You obviously didn't know her that well then. I can personally attest that her niceness did not extend to everyone. Yes she was an active member of fandom, but that didn't make her some kind of God.

Only for those who seemed to think that Mello/Near were obviously a yaoi couple taken directly out of a generic yaoi manga.

For me? Trying to write Near as dominating was met with a lot of 'n_n' but Mello tops!' and then having to endure comments about how wrong it was for me to put Near/Mello because the proper way to tag a fic should be with the one who tops. Every time I wrote a fic for the couple, I dreaded she reading it and putting her passive aggressive '^^;; but it's not like that, ne?'

Making lot of noise is NOT the same as doing much for a couple. I pretty much stopped writing for Death Note since I couldn't deal anymore with that kind of bull.

She made so much for her own vision of the pairing, which was the two characters as OOC generic BL characters.

Anything that didn't follow her moe moe seme/uke dynamic shit was a horrible, insulting, disgusting thing in her mind, and had to be banned from existance because it made her eyes bleed. She created a horrible, hostile environment because she'd constantly rant if people OH MY GOD dared to label a fic with Near topping as "Mello/Near" because in Japan, you have to put the one who tops first. She'd hate on anyone who liked the anime, she'd hate on anyone who didn't think Near shat rainbows, etcetc.
