6. The wording of this is kind of strange. Boys liking each other is cute, but girls liking each other is weird? I can understand you saying that it just ain't your cup of tea, but calling it weird? Weird? Does this extend to real-life lesbians or just fictional ones?

6. I totally agree. I can understand people being into yaoi but not yuri, (I'm more into slash than femmeslash myself), but finding one "cute" and the other "weird" is hypocritical and is pretty homophobic and prejudiced IMHO.

I'm willing to give the person the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just really bad wording on their part, but... yeah. The way it's written, I am tempted to call them a hypocrite.

Yeah, tone is everything. I wouldn't have even blinked if the poster had said something like "yuri isn't my thing, so quit bugging me about it" but "weird" made me raise an eyebrow. And it wouldn't be the first time I've seen a fanbrat someone go "Yaoi, yay! Lesbians? Ewww!" :|
