1. Relationship breakups/realistic issues in an RP is something I almost have yet to see when two players have planned out a pairing, srsly :[

PS, I agree with you on 6. The secret wasn't douchey, just...er, hypocritical. Especially because it's all victimized :(

basically i agree with you and i just wanted to stalk you

I'm quite hestiant to saying this, but a lot of reason I'm myself very iffy about yuri/yaoi/pairings in general is because often many pairings are quite generic and unrealistic. I can state many yuri pairings in anime which I myself officially dislike due to how it was potrayed even if it was canon, for example Chikane x Himeko from Kannazuki no Miko. [ The manga was even more cringe worthy to me but both were the basic girls getting together in the end despite one raping and abusing the other one? = Not my cup of tea. ]

So this person may have had the problem of watching the wrong type of yuri or romance between two girls to begin with to give them a bad stereotype of yuri in general. Thankfully, Kannazuki no Miko was NOT my first yuri anime but instead Revolutionary Girl Utena so even if there is a bunch of crap canon out there, I'm waiting for another intelligent storyline of sacrifice, love, and friendship to come along.

I'm the same way with Yaoi and Het too, so please don't point me as double standard. I don't mind the pairings so much if you didn't know despite what happens both would be together in the end anyway. :(

I don't mind yuri at all really, it's just a lot of yuri is not focused on girls but instead on guys. [which was very much the case of Kannazuki no Miko if you read the manga especially] Not saying girls can't enjoy yuri, but rarely is it aimed at other audiences.

I think it's a case of bad wording since they seem like they don't hate it, but rather they just can't get into yuri.

That's what it usually happens in most yaoi/yuri, but it seemed to be happening lots in recent yaoi/yuri as of late. I might of worded that a little off, but what usually happens in yuri is the method if - either people who compliment each other normally get to be the starcrossed lovers, or the abusive little submissive girl stays with the big and rather abusive controlling dominant girl.

Jesus Christ, KnM sounds like the Gravitation of the yuri fandom.

Let's not forget it was for the submissive one's own good in the end.

But yes, perfect description for it.
