So why OP just won't stop being so feminine and be less feminine?

actually, it's not really as simple as that. some trans men naturally look so feminine that they just cannot pass for male, even if they really try (and the op did mention they were trying). there's hormones/surgery, but not every guy can/wants to do that.

It's not a dress/behavior thing, it's how I physically look. As in, I'm really short and have pronounced curves and a very feminine face, so no matter how hard I try I just come off as "butch girl" rather than "guy".

You're not the only one, OP. <3 I have a very distinctly feminine, rounded face, I'm really short, and due to my heritage I'm a lot curvier than most people my height. Because of this it's really hard for me to pass IRL, which makes the ease of acceptance online all the more amazing.

Just know you're not alone, dude, and no matter what anyone says or how they treat you, it doesn't change who you are any more than your looks do. <3

It really is easy to feel that way. =C Hell, before I came out as trans on LJ, I thought I was alone, but then a couple of friends (who I'd only ever known via male pronouns anyway) spoke up because they were in the same boat as you and me. <3

I hope things improve IRL for you, OP. <3

Have you tried weight training? I know everybody's body is different and it might not work for you, but working with lifts really helped me get to a more androgynous body shape.
