Really don't give a fuck what it's based on, it's still fictional and has done no harm to people--consumers who would purchase and play the game. There's no one to piss off, except for people who are "creeped" out by any measure of faith devotion like OP.

OP recognizes that religion is bullshit like any educated and informed person. It is ~creepy to believe you drink the blood of a god everyday and that he saves you from harm after putting you in its way. Religious crazies not just christians are dangerous people.
