Kind of the same here. On one hand, I'm just shy about what I write. Sure, it's very flattering when you get nothing but flattery even if it's mostly from other anons. Doesn't necessarily mean your work is flawless of course, just that some people who liked it bothered to mention they did.

On the other hand, I just like being anonymous and keeping it to myself. Not really sure why, just do. If you count fandom friends as people you can share your excitement with, maybe you should make a few of those. Or you could even repost some of your more well-received stuff under the guise of "archiving" and see where it goes from there.
