Dear OP, don't pay attention to the lone Transfriday wanker from your screencap. I'm pretty sure it's always the same crowd bashing the pair; it's hardly a fandom-wide feeling, since I know a good amount of people who like it and would love to see more of it, me included. ♥

Don't feel bad, OP. At least you have a halfway valid reason. I'm terrified of midgets and I always have been for no discernible reason. In fact, anything that's abnormal scares the shit out of me. Little people, people with deformities, amputees, even sometimes especially bad scars scare me, etc. I can't even sit in a wheelchair without getting freaked out and jumping back up. I'm getting the heebies jeebies just thinking about it.

It's just... It's like some kind of an extension of body-horror, for me. People are made to work a certain way, bodies should be a certain way, and when they aren't it scares me and creeps me out and makes me feel a little bit ill with terror. I don't want a million essays on ableism, because I'm not prejudiced against disabled people, I'm just scared of them. It's my irrational fear, like people who're scared of clowns or spiders. Bodies-gone-wrong is plain terrifying to me.
