I'm just wondering what Homestruck is...

Webcomic about eccentric 13-year olds, an omnipotent videogame, time travel, anthropomorphic chess pieces on post apocalyptic-earth, and alien internet trolls in love. That's really all you need to know.

The aliens in love have four types of romance, each based on a card suit. The diamond romance featured in this secret is non-sexual and involves the one participant preventing the other from harming him/herself or others.

Homestuck, by the way, not struck. :P I read it wrong all the time before I started reading it.

The <> thing in the picture is a reference to the moirail quadrant of Troll Romance, where two people stick together to keep each other safe and in line, and watch out for each other, and makes sure the other doesn't do anything harmful to other people. Basically, instinct-enforced morality pets.
