Well, that's not the point. The point is that it's incredibly stupid to totally dismiss something because you don't like ONE FAN

I wasn't responding to you questioning their intelligence. I was just saying that in my opinion they aren't missing much.

And yeah, it's dumb to develop irrational hate ons for a comic/book/movie/series because of how certain fans behave, but people do it all the time. If Anon wasn't planning to read Transmet anyway, this decision doesn't really affect their future in a meaningful manner- it's just a kind of totally overrated comic book. Maybe in a few months or years they'll stumble across it and change their mind.

Besides, it's not like deciding you probably wouldn't like something based on the fact that someone you disagree with intensely appears to heavily identify with it is exactly a dumb or blind call. It's a lot more logical than: "I AM SO MAD THIS IS POPULAR SO I'M GOING TO HATE IT" which is the usual source of statements like this.

Depends on what you mean by disagree with intensely. As far as I can tell a lot of the hate against me is largely unfocused rage. Which makes it funnier because they're forced to make up reasons why I'm a bad person.

Don't do that. Dethtoll is a horrible jerk but Transmetropolitan is good, really.
