I still have fond memories of this show. It's the reason I got through middle school and remained as sane as I did. Though my friends, who were also Zim fans along with me during middle school, remember it in conjunction with how horrible middle school was, so

Anyway, after my pointless rambling above, I'll just end by saying that I agree. I wish the fandom was less "OMGLULZ SO RANDOM", less teenage kids just liking it because it's "edgy" and sold in Hot Topic, and more people liking it because of plot analyzing and detail noticing and other things, like some of the other fandoms I'm in.
