Lauren's been written well so far _{(though as awesome as the showdown was with her and Santana, I'm still weirded out that no one says anything about the fact that they were in school when it happened and neither got punished!)}

I really wish Ryan Murphy takes it further and uses her as a way to deconstruct the way people like OP's friend view fat people. But that's expecting too much...

Well, OP, you could always show your friend the show, Huge. It did a beautiful job with its fat characters and I only wish the rest of the media would take that cue.

Hell, maybe Glee could hire Savannah Dooley and clean up the hot mess of season 2.
