I don't watch Glee, and although I knew it took place in Lima, I didn't realize any of the action took place in Westerville. ♥

To be honest, though, I don't think the distance is so unrealistic. If they were going to go with a Columbus suburb, I would've picked Upper Arlington -- assuming they still have a reputation for fancy schools in that district (as they did when I was in high school).

I always think Dublin or Bexley. I mean Westerville is definitely trending more and more towards upper class, but they don't have any schools nice enough to be Dalton quality.

As far as I'm aware, Upper Arlington only really has Wellington - which is a very nice private school. However, Bexely has St. Charles (which is a Catholic prep school, but it has a very high reputation) and Columbus School for Girls and used to have The Columbus Academy, which is now in Gahanna. And New Albany has really, really nice public schools.


But yeah - I'm not sure I would have picked Westerville as a location for a fancy school. It's a nice town, and Otterbein College is pretty awesome, but I can't think of any highly reputable fancy schools around there.
