Agreed. Same with the rest of the nordic countries.

Actually, I don't think it's that inaccurate; we (Sweden) sort of just marched into Finland and told the people there they belonged to us, never listened to any protests they might have had, went on thinking they were just a natural part of us for a few hundred years, and were terribly upset when we lost them to Russia. No matter that Finland apparently had it better under Russia (as far as I know, I'm a bit shaky on that part of history).

Finland, I understand, invented guerilla warfare simultaneously with the people in Spain, so a hidden deadliness is possibly IC as well? I've heard that the author takes influence into foreign politics into account in his characterisation rather than preconceptions of the people itself.

Don't mean to be nitpicky, but while Spain and Finland did much to further guerrilla warfare, they certainly didn't invent it.
