My friends and I have been rewatching some YYH episodes lately. Brings back so much nostalgia! ;w;

Hmm, while I understand this, I will say starting to see the signs of aging in myself really turned my boat around in regards to how I view myself, aging, etc. I used to say I was never afraid of getting old because of how fantastic Angelica Houston looked, things like that. It genuinely didn't scare me. Then I got my first wrinkles around my eyes, and my boobs started to drop. Once you see that mortality creeping in and that there is an end to youth, it gets a lot scarier. I've come to terms with it now, but it's just hard to imagine it until it starts happening.

It would be awesome to be like Genkai in your later years. She's one of the most badass old ladies in anime, full of incredible strength and intelligence in such a little frame.

Come to think of it, we don't get too many badass old lady characters in general. So it's greatly inspiring to see one, both because it's a strong woman, and a strong older person playing a prominent role.

Genkai is a strong female in anime that I respect very, very much. I loved her immensely in YYH.

Hell yeah, Genkai owns. Gotta love a YYH secret, too.

If your not to young to fear growing old, your not to young NOT to fear it, I don't care how many old people tell you otherwise. Rock on, OP :D
