Oh come on. Everyone has moments of schadenfreude. Everyone knows that feeling where someone who really rubs them the wrong way, or a rival or mean 'friend', gets theirs and you feel slightly satisfied/vindicated. Some characters are even designed to strike that particular nerve - like Brittany from Daria.

Not to be rude, but how do you know that the author isn't writing sparkly sues because it genuinely makes them happy and they know fandom isn't srs bzns? If you're too lazy/ashamed of your opinion/etc. to give good concrit-- which indeed might need to be line by line, if you want hir to understand your points-- you can't really complain when their behaviour keeps up like this. :\

of course the situation might be that this person is really terrible to be with and is negatively impacting your fandom to a major degree in which case I'm sorry you have to deal with that! It's just, from the way the secret is worded, I don't really know the full story...
